Sebastián Losada Bestard, known as Losada (Madrid, Spain, September 3, 1967)


He came through the youth ranks at Real Madrid. At just 17, he made his debut with the first team in the First Division on September 9, 1984.


At the age of 19, he was loaned to RCD Espanyol to gain experience. There, he was runner-up in the UEFA Cup during the 1987/88 season, scoring two goals in the first leg against Bayer Leverkusen.

He returned to the Madrid team where he played for three years, scoring 37 goals.

In the summer of 1991 he signed for Atlético de Madrid.

He also played for Sevilla and Celta de Vigo where he shared a dressing room with players of the caliber of Maradona,


His achievements as a player include 2 League titles, 2 Copa del Rey titles, 2 Spanish Super Cups, 1 League Cup, 1 UEFA Cup, and 1 U-20 World Cup runner-up position.


He decided to hang up his boots in 1995, at just 27 years old, to dedicate himself to his career as a lawyer.


In 1985, he became the first Spaniard to win the Golden Boot for top scorer at a World Youth Championship.


He was an international player in all categories of the national team.


In 2016, he joined forces with Óscar Calleja and Ramón G Núñez to create the Marbella Football Academy, an academy located in Marbella and created to offer high-quality training to children and young people looking to improve their skills on and off the field.
